Nina at Paleyfest 2010

Paleyfest honored The Vampire Diaries on Saturday (March 6). Fans were shown the next episode of the show entitled, "A Few Good Men", and the cast/creators answered fan questions.

The boys lovingly teased Nina for her tendency to pack a tad too much. Ian recalled a time Nina brought a giant suitcase, which unfortunately got lost, for a one day trip. Hey boys, shoes, blow dryers and makeup take up a lot of room!

Nina's covering Seventeen Magazine for their April 2010 issue! Inside she dishes on getting her start in the industry and how she keeps in touch with her family overseas. Check out some of her quotes from the interview and a behind the scenes video of her cover shoot.

On Degrassi:I did Degrassi for four years. It was my constant, no matter what movie I would do on hiatus or whatever I would do elsewhere, every year I would always go back to Degrassi, to my family, and they really sort of taught me all the groundwork and got me started. Before that I was really green, I didn't know what I was doing, so it kind of helped ease my path into the whole industry.

On keeping touch with family:Even though my grandparents live overseas and are so far away and we talk as much as we can, we don't see each other that often. They just go on YouTube, or they go online and watch the episodes that I'm in, and read the articles I've done. It makes them feel like we're closer because they get to see me daily, or weekly, or however often they want to see my face. And they're proud of me � they collect all of the articles in a book.

On Ian's sweet side:We had a couple six-year-olds who came to a signing and actually thought that Ian Somerhalder [who plays Damon] was a vampire, and they were terrified of him. We had this one little girl go up to him, and she was really shy, and her mom was like, 'She has something to tell you.' And Ian leaned over and was like, 'What is it, sweetheart?', and the little girl says, 'Try to be a good boy.' And he was like, 'Okay, sweetie�for you I'll try.' - Seventeen.com

Talk of Fame's Post Hot Topic Interview with Nina

Albert Lawrence from Talk of Fame caught up with Nina Dobrev after the Hot Topic event in LA to discuss the dedication of Vampire Diaries fans and how she almost didn't make it to LA in time!

Nina also expressed her gratitude towards her fans and how lucky she is to be in the position she's in. Nina's always a sweetheart!
